When you find fresh rhubarb, so many things you can do. Add a little ginger, not too much sugar, some lemon juice to make jam. I will use it on a crisp shortbread base for that after pie sweet fix.

Yes, we have lamichans today! 今日、ラミちゃんがある。ラミントンはなんですか?ラミントンはオーストリアとニュジーランドの有名な焼き菓子です。スポンジケーキにラズベリージャムを塗ってチョコレットコーテイングしてココナッツをまぶしてあります。

Pretty little things. Blueberry friands.

Found some plums so I made a jam with a hint of spice which I then spread over a shortbread base and topped with crumble. Sweet, tart and crisp and available this weekend at the shop.

Freshly ground five spice mix, hoisin, honey, soy, molasses, sesanr oil, chinese vinegar can only mean one thing... char siu pork pies back on the menu. Almost out the pork apple pies, won't be anymore until the apple season hits. But these are just as tasty for the pork lovers.

Cumin, garam masala, turmeric fresh ginger and garlic, lemon juice and yoghurt... can only mean one thing: marinade for butter chicken. Just letting the chicken bathe in that overnight.

Naked salted caramel slice. To humid for chocolate but if you want that caramel fix here it is.

Absolutely love this place. I’ve been several times now and not only enjoyed the pies (the steak ones are particularly good), but the sausage rolls and sweets are quite outstanding as well. The coffee is excellent and goes with the food nicely. Only open on weekends, but you can get frozen pies to take home and enjoy later. I’m not exactly sure what a tucker is, but as someone else mentioned in a review, the guy running this place is a really good one. I’m a customer for life.

Probably the best meat pies in Tokyo, if not Japan. A little hard to get to, but worth the trip.

Loved the pies here, and couldn’t stop after one! The fact that they use such high quality New Zealand and Australian ingredients is obvious with an outstanding finished product! Highly recommend, and appreciate the takeaway frozen pies to cook at home. Can’t wait to return!
